The German Federal  Institute for Vocational Education and Training has published a 'Discussion Paper' called 'Implementing ECVET:  Crediting, recognition and transfer of learning outcomes between European target stipulations and national system conditions'.

 

The paper discusses the added value of ECVET for mobility in Germany, but also outside of mobility contexts and presents the outcomes of the three German pilot projects (EASYMetal, ESyCQ, 2get1care), but also the outcomes of the French MENECVET project. Moreover, it discusses the value and applicability of ECVET in the German VET-System and presents a few more practice examples from other European countries (Sweden, The Netherlands and Spain.
